Art cars mean business

What do these businesses have in common? They are all sponsors of The Orange Show’s annual art car weekend in Houston, Texas.

Why? Because art car events are a great way for area businesses to support arts education, showcase their community, and receive national media attention.

In 2007, Houston’s Art Car Weekend provided their sponsors with 39,251,442 impressions (advertising value: $2,013,604). San Francisco’s ArtCar Fest has been featured globally including: The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The London Guardian, Smithsonian, Wired, Reader’s Digest, People, CNN, UNIVISION, The Travel Channel, National Geographic Explorer, and major media networks.

Your company can make a big difference: An event of this size cannot occur without public and private support. Corporate sponsorship levels begin at $5,000 and grow from there based on the educational support businesses would like to give and the promotional opportunities they would like to receive. All donations will allow your business to have a sponsored vehicle in the event which will occur in conjunction with the 4Bridges Arts Festival in April 2012. Based on their annual attendance of 19,000, your branded art car will receive a lot of exposure. Art cars also make great employee team-building projects as well as a great way to connect with the community. You can create your own vehicle, hire an artist to assist, or implement this program with one of your existing programs.
